What this page covers

This notice explains what we collect when you leave feedback about a visit to one of The Lab Holding's restaurants — Bordomavi, Brix, 3Fils, or SLRP Ramen — using the QR code on our table tents.

What we collect

  • Your rating (1–5 stars) and the brand/location it refers to.
  • Your comment, if you choose to write one (optional).
  • Your contact details (email or WhatsApp), only if you choose to leave them — and only requested if you rate 3 stars or fewer, so a manager can follow up.
  • The language you used (English or Arabic).
  • An anonymous device identifier stored as a cookie. Used only to prevent the same device from submitting twice for the same location within 24 hours.
  • A one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (we never store your raw IP). Used only for spam protection and rate limiting.

Why we collect it

Operational improvement. Bad ratings reach the location manager quickly so they can fix issues. Good ratings, with your permission, are nudged toward Google so the team gets recognised. Aggregate statistics (average rating, trends, themes) help the brand improve.

AI processing of comments

When you leave a comment, the text — with any personally identifying information removed — is sent to Anthropic's Claude model via the Vercel AI Gateway, which automatically classifies it into one of eight themes (food, service, wait time, ambience, cleanliness, value, menu, other). Anthropic operates under a zero-retention policy via the Gateway: your comment is not used to train any AI model and is not stored by them.

Who sees your data

  • The location's general manager and the brand's manager, plus The Lab Holding's head office.
  • Resend (our email provider) handles delivery of manager alerts.
  • Neon (our database host) stores the records.
  • No third-party marketing partners. No data sales. Ever.

How long we keep it

We keep feedback records indefinitely so we can spot long-term trends and improvements. You can ask us to delete your record at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any feedback record you submitted. Email privacy@thelabholding.com with the date and approximate time of your visit (and your contact details if you left them) and we will action the request within 30 days.
